Xvape Vista Mini Portable Wax Vaporizer

Xvape Vista Mini Portable Wax Vaporizer

Xvape have been consistently releasing great product after great product for the past couple of years. Most recently, they’ve strengthened their lineup even further with the Vista Mini. The easiest way to describe the Vista Mini would be to call it a portable e-nail. For a device like the Vista Mini, that may be technically correct, but upon closer inspection you’ll see that it exists in an emerging gray area between dab pen or wax pen and portable e-nail. I’d say it’s more “wax pen on steroids” than portable e-nail, and that’s not a bad thing. However you label it, the Vista Mini packs a ton of features into a compact, affordable device. Oh, and to top it all off, the Vista Mini supports wireless charging! As far as I am aware, this is the first concentrate or dry herb vaping device to support wireless charging, and it’s awesome!

In the accessory box, you’ll find the usual suspects, and some not so usual. The included loading tool doubles as an Xvape branded keychain, which is a nice touch. Xvape is very good about including extra o-rings and spare parts; the Vista Mini is no exception. The Plastic funnel, used to fill the glass bubbler, is not something you see in every accessory pack. With a steady hand, the funnel isn’t needed to fill the bubbler, but it helps make things very easy. While the device does support wireless charging, it also has a standard Micro USB charging port, and includes a lengthy Micro USB cord. The Vista Mini does not come with a wireless charging pad in the box, but it has worked with every charging pad I’ve tried. As of writing, the MSRP of the Vista Mini is only $119.99. For a device like this, $119.99 is a fantastic value. I imagine the decision not to include a wireless charger was an attempt to keep the pricing as low as possible. As someone who owns a few wireless charging pads, this is not a big deal for me. If you’re getting the Vista Mini because of the wireless charging, just remember to include the cost of a wireless charging pad when you’re figuring out your device budget. Luckily, they can be found just about anywhere nowadays relatively cheaply.

The included manual is very well written and illustrated, and gives an easy to follow rundown of usage and features. There are some cleaning and maintenance tips as well. The ceramic heating chamber is replaceable, and they look and function a lot like a bigger version of a dab pen with a ceramic donut atomizer. Changing the heating element is as simple as unscrewing the old one and screwing in the new one. Operating the device is a little different than a standard dab pen, but the learning curve is very small. Rather than the usual “press and hold the button while inhaling” method you’ll see with pens, the Vista Mini lets you press the button 1 time (after powering on the unit and selecting the desired temp) to turn on the heating element, and it continues to heat the element for 20 seconds while you inhale. It couldn’t be an easier!

The bubbler on the Vista Mini gives you some great percolation, which isn’t always the case with the smaller portable e-nail bubblers. This one actually feels like a real water pipe, and with a standard 14mm female joint, you’ll have plenty of options when it comes to customization. Whether it be a different mouthpiece, an ash catcher, or even another bubbler, the standard sized glass fitting means the opportunities are endless! I’m anxious to see what people are able to come up with when they get the Vista Mini in their hands.

All in all, the Vista Mini is a fantastic addition to Xvapes already great lineup. The wireless charging feature might seem like overkill today, but 12 months from now it will be an industry standard, mark my word! I initially thought the novelty of it would wear off, but it’s been a few weeks now and I have still only charged the device on my wireless charging pads. It’s too easy to use the device and just set it right back on its pad without plugging anything in. Sure, plugging it in only takes approximately .5 seconds, but trust me when I say it’s worth it. One less cord in our life is always a good thing! Be sure to check out our un-boxing and rundown video, and head over to Vape Pen Sales if you have any questions!
